25. Denver Nuggets – Jared Butler, G, Baylor

Jared Butler is another Baylor Bear that will benefit from the team’s championship run in the NCAA tournament, but the talent is there for him to be a good player at the next level as well.

For a team like the Denver Nuggets, Butler just makes sense. Butler is one of the most experienced players that will be taken in the first round and is coming off a junior season in which he averaged 17 points and five assists per game on 47 percent shooting for the field and 42 percent shooting from 3-point range.

Butler was a productive player at Baylor over his last two seasons and if he can translate that to the NBA, there’s no question that he could emerge as a valuable bench player, or better, for any team.
