Potential East x-factors in the NBA Playoffs: Bogdan Bogdanovic, Atlanta Hawks

When discussing the Atlanta Hawks’ breakout season, many will be quick to point to Trae Young and John Collins. However, I’m not sure the Hawks would be in the position that they’re in heading into the playoffs without a healthy and productive Bogdan Bogdanovic.

He’s been vital to the Hawks’ success this season and will undoubtedly play a big role for the Hawks, especially if they are going to make a run in the playoffs. Bogdanovic is averaging 16 points, four rebounds, and three assists per game this season.

If the Hawks are going to be a dark horse in the East, they’re going to need a “splash” game or two from Bogdanovic. In fact, you can make a case that he’s the team’s most important player heading into the postseason. Though, he’s often overlooked.
