NBA Mock Draft 5.0: Evan Mobley at No. 1; Warriors get richer with top 10 pick
7. Toronto Raptors – Keon Johnson, G, Tennessee
Heading into an offseason of uncertainty, it’ll be interesting to see how a team such as the Toronto Raptors elect to tackle the NBA Draft. Keon Johnson could be a fit late in the top 10, especially if the team is set on moving on from Kyle Lowry and entering the next phase of Raptors basketball.
Johnson is one of the most athletic players in this draft class but still needs a lot of work on the offensive end. He’s raw and I’m not sure if he’d play a big role for any team right away. Still, his potential is something that will make him a lottery pick in this year’s class.
And the Raptors might be an ideal spot for a prospect that needs some development. Over the past few years, the Raptors might be the best team at developing prospects. Could Johnson be their next project?
