You might be a bit surprised to see the Denver Nuggets on this list, but when you look at the assets that this team could send out in a potential deal, it will quickly make sense why they could emerge as a potential landing spot for Lillard.

As a hypothetical package, the Nuggets could cobble together something like: Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr., and a couple of future picks. Murray is an all-star talent, Porter is probably worth a first-round pick or two on the open market, and the Blazers could also get some more draft picks.

There might not be another move that the Blazers could make (assuming that this offer would be on the table) that could keep them as a playoff contender in the West. If that’s something the Blazers would be interested in, a trade with the Nuggets makes sense on that front.
