New York Knicks

Ah, the New York Knicks. The team nearly everyone is hoping is back but generally never is. The Knicks have gotten off to an impressive start to the year and are 5-1. Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau seems to have gotten the team to shake off the bad taste from last year’s playoffs and this is a team that has gotten better.

Question is, how much better?

That’s difficult to answer at the moment. Though, here’s the good:

  • Mitchell Robinson is healthy.
  • Julius Randle seems to have picked up where he left off last regular season.
  • RJ Barrett looks improved.
  • Kemba Walker still has some left in the tank.

Maybe I’m a bit insane but I believe the Knicks could finish as a top 3 team in the Eastern Conference this season. And, depending on how the playoff bracket shakes out, make a run to the conference finals.

Verdict: Treat
