Victor Oladipo can fill the backup point guard void for the Miami Heat

For much of the season, the Heat has gotten by with Gabe Vincent as the backup point guard to Kyle Lowry. Even though he has proven that he can be a productive contributor – and even a spot starter – there’s no question that Victor Oladipo’s versatility as a guard will certainly help fill that void for the team heading into the postseason.

During the playoffs, rotations are generally cut and even though one of this team’s strengths does revolve around their depth, the expectation is that head coach Erik Spoelstra is going to tighten the rotation.

Oladipo will give the Heat another guard that can play effectively on both ends of the floor and one that has experience in the playoffs.
