Are the Miami Heat the only team on his preference list?

This is a super important question that would add some clarity to this whole situation, but it’s something that we simply don’t have at the moment. If the Miami Heat are indeed the only team on his preference list now that the Phoenix Suns basically eliminated themselves, it would be extremely interesting to see what Brooklyn’s next move would be.

With multiple years remaining on his contract, the Nets aren’t without leverage. However, if there’s only one team that Durant is willing to be a “happy camper” with, I’m not really sure where that leaves the Nets.

And if the Heat are the only team left on his preference list, are the Nets willing to help Durant get to Miami? I highly doubt they’d be since they want the best possible package in any trade. Though, the Nets also can’t carry Durant on the roster into training camp. That would be a colossal disaster.
