Notable moves: Signed Jalen Brunson

After missing the playoffs this past season, it was clear that the New York Knicks needed to make some changes to the roster this offseason. And that’s exactly what they did by adding Jalen Brunson, one of the most sought-after free agents on the open market.

Ultimately, Brunson elected to sign with the Knicks over the Dallas Mavericks this offseason. But that’s not all the Knicks are up to. It appears that they will eventually land Donovan Mitchell via trade from the Utah Jazz.

The Knicks have significantly upgraded the roster and may be taking it a step further with a potential addition of Mitchell. Even if the deal for Mitchell doesn’t happen, it’s hard to look at what the Knicks have done this offseason and consider it a disappointment.
