Notable moves: Drafted Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams

The Oklahoma City Thunder took another step in their rebuild this offseason by drafting Chet Holmgren, who looked good during the NBA’s Summer League, and Jalen Williams. With the moves this offseason, the Thunder have assembled a foundational core heading into this next season.

Heading into 2022-23, the Thunder now has a core of Holmgren, Williams, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Josh Giddey. They will be one of the most interesting teams to watch next season and perhaps this is finally the year they take a step forward.

OKC is heading into a big year in its development.
