Harrison Barnes, Sacramento Kings
Based on his performance in the NBA’s Summer League, it seems as if the Sacramento Kings may have hit a home run by drafting Keegan Murray. If he is indeed the player that many believe he can be, it would be smart for the Kings to try and open as many minutes for him as possible. And that might mean trading Harrison Barnes.
And considering that Barnes is also entering the final year of his contract with the Kings, it could be the perfect opportunity to get an asset to help with their current build. Barnes has still been a consistent performer over the last couple of seasons and could be attractive for a contender.
Barnes is an underrated 3-and-D wing that could benefit from being in another winning situation. The Kings aren’t likely to be that this season, even with the promise that lies with Murray.
