Zion Williamson’s return should be huge for the New Orleans Pelicans

Zion Williamson is cleared to play and confirmed that he is going to be ready to go as soon as the season starts. Williamson is one of the most athletic players ever to have touched an NBA court. His explosive ability is unlike any other, and his strength is unmatched in the NBA.

There’s no question that Zion will make an immediate impact once he returns. Williamson looks fantastic in all the released footage, and with all the doubt and hate surrounding him regarding his weight and ability to stay on the floor, you can believe that he will be on a mission to shut down the doubters.
The last time Williamson was on the floor, he averaged 27 points, 3.7 assists, and 7.2 rebounds. Williamson will improve on his and potentially average 30 points, four assists, and eight rebounds per game.

He will establish himself quickly, and with the addition of McCollum and Brandon Ingram coming off a dominant season, Williamson will have more room to work with and have fewer double and triple teams, and could become an All-NBA player.
