Cleveland Cavaliers

It shouldn’t be a surprise to see the Cleveland Cavaliers on this list after they added Donovan Mitchell in a blockbuster trade a few days ago. The Cavs now have one of the best rosters in the Eastern Conference and will only get better as they continue to develop together as a unit.

There should be a renewal of excitement in the city of Cleveland surrounding the Cavs. Mitchell’s presence will bring a level of legitimacy to the Cavs that they simply didn’t have last season even though they climbed their way into the playoff picture in the East.

If Darius Garland and Evan Mobley can take a step in their progression this season, there’s a very real chance that the Cavs could be one of the dark-horse-contending teams in the East.

It would be extremely surprising if the Cavs didn’t take a step forward this season.
