Miami Heat

The Miami Heat are probably the team that makes the most sense for Jae Crowder. He is familiar with this core and recently was starting for the team. The Heat also lost PJ Tucker during the offseason and never replaced him. Crowder would effectively do what the Heat failed to do during the offseason.

During the latter portion of the 2019-20 season, Crowder averaged 12 points and five rebounds on 48 percent shooting from the field and 44 percent shooting from 3-point range. He was also a critical part of the team’s NBA Finals run. It was somewhat confusing when the Heat didn’t extend him, but perhaps they could right that wrong by trading for him.

I’m not saying that Crowder can be that player again for the Heat but if he can shoot the 3 even at an average clip and play above-average defense, he’d certainly be a player that would help the Heat after a somewhat disastrous offseason.
