NBA: 10 things I think we know through the first 10 games of the season

The Portland Trail Blazers need further examining

There were a lot of questions surrounding the “new-look” Portland Trail Blazers heading into the season. Even though they decided to hit the semi-rebuild button, the team didn’t really make huge adjustments during the offseason – of course, with the exception of adding Jerami Grant via trade.

Nevertheless, through the first few games of the season, the Blazers haven’t just looked improved. They look like a team that could potentially compete for a top 4 seed in the Western Conference. Though, I do have my concerns about this team. It’s a small sample size and this team needs to continue to prove its worth.

Damian Lillard has been amazing. He’s currently sidelined with an injury but it’ll be interesting to see if he can pick up where he left off before the ailment. The Blazers may be good but this is a team that needs further examining. At least for now.
