The Brooklyn Nets are another team whose struggles this season have been at the forefront of the NBA coverage so far this season. The Nets have had a season worth of issues and we’re not even 15 games through the season. The Nets have played slightly better as of late, but there are still many questions that remain for this team.

Kyrie Irving, who was recently suspended, is set to return to the team at some point next week, if not before. The big question for Kyrie is whether or not he can cease to be a distraction for this team when he does return to play. Ben Simmons still looks like a player that is searching for his confidence. The hope is that he looks better as the season evolves, but that’s far from a guarantee.

If the Nets can’t right the ship sooner rather than later, blowing up this core is something that remains a very real possibility. Especially after what transpired during the offseason in which Kevin Durant requested a trade out of town.

The next few weeks will be vital for this franchise’s future.
