3. San Antonio Spurs – Brandon Miller, F, Alabama

At least for now, Brandon Miller is still considered the unanimous No. 3 overall prospect in this year’s NBA Draft class. And if the San Antonio Spurs end up with the No. 3 pick, I don’t see any reason why they would zag here. Even though he’s coming off somewhat of a disappointing run in the NCAA Tournament, Miller is still one of the most talented prospects in this year’s draft class. That hasn’t changed.

Putting a 6-foot-9 skilled forward in the Spurs’ developmental organization could prove to be an absolute cheat code for this franchise. He’s coming off an extremely productive and efficient season at Alabama where he may not even have to show much in the pre-draft process in order to cement himself as a top 3 pick.

It’ll be interesting to see what Miller develops into at the next level. He surely has a high ceiling and you’d have to imagine that landing on a team like the Spurs will give him a great chance of reaching such heights.

In a few years, we could look back at this draft being the one that produced the next face of the Spurs. Miller is that good and has that much potential.
