Bold prediction No. 3: The Philadelphia 76ers will look overwhelming

It’s been well-chronicled that the Philadelpiha 76ers have a ton to play for heading into this postseason run. And it all starts with putting a strong foot forward against the Brooklyn Nets which the Sixers should have little-to-no problem handling. And I believe that they will do that in this series. There’s no question that the Sixers are the superior team. They should have no problem taking care of the Nets, but that hasn’t always been easy for these Sixers.

And I believe that will begin to change with the Nets. The players and coaching staff know how much is at stake and, at least in this first-round series, we’re going to see as good of a Sixers performance in a postseason series as we’ve seen in quite a while.

Whether or not that ends up catapulting the Sixers into a deep playoff run remains to be seen but I predict that after this first-round performance, there are many that are going to believe in their chances of winning the East.
