Josh Christopher

Josh Christopher is another talented young player that the Philadelphia 76ers could take a flier on. After a solid rookie season in Houston, Christopher took somewhat of a step back during his sophomore season in the league. Nevertheless, as a former first-round pick, and still just 21 years old, he’s a player that the Sixers could take a chance on at the shooting guard position.

Due to a crowded backcourt in Houston, you can make the argument that what Christopher needs most is a fresh start. And I suppose you can argue whether the Sixers would not be the best place for him to continue to develop and grow. At the same time, playing next to Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid could help him unlock his full potential.

During the second half of the season, Christopher was a much better player. It was encouraging to see his improved play after a truly forgettable start to his second season in the league. The big question is whether or not the Rockets would be the right opportunity for him moving forward.

If so, he could be a worthy target for Philadelphia in a potential trade of Harden.
