The Houston Rockets trading the No. 4 pick for a star
The Houston Rockets are one team that I have no idea what they end up doing this offseason. And all that begins for the team at the NBA Draft with the No. 4 overall pick. After failing to land Victor Wembanyama, it’s clear that everything changed for the team. They seem to be tired of the losing and are ready to make a move up the Western Conference standings. Even if they have to force the issue, the Rockets are going to do whatever it takes to accomplish that goal.
If Houston wanted to take their stance a step further, perhaps they could trade the No. 4 overall pick (along with another player on their roster) for an established star. If the Rockets do end up adding James Harden this offseason, it would be a safe bet to assume he won’t be the only veteran addition.
The question for the Rockets heading into the NBA Draft is, to what lengths are they willing to go to change the culture in Houston? Could the Rockets completely spark chaos on draft night by trading the No. 4 pick?
