Detroit Pistons

Trade candidate: Killian Hayes

Killian Hayes’ time with the Detroit Pistons has been nothing short of lackluster. After the team invested their 7th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft on the French guard, he has struggled to contribute consistent play throughout his young career.

Since Hayes entered the league, the Pistons have year after year added a guard through the draft. With Cade Cunningham, Jaden Ivey, and now Ausar Thompson, it may be a sign of things to come and the team potentially looking to move on from him and give him a fresh start somewhere else.

Golden States Warriors

Trade candidate: Moses Moody

If the Golden State Warriors hope to add to this veteran-laded team at some point before the push toward the playoffs, it might come at the expense of one of their 2021 lottery picks, with the most likely being Moses Moody. He has always been forced to play behind the veterans of the team and never got consistent minutes to this point.

This year may be the time for both Moody and Jonathan Kuminga to get their shine with Chris Paul commanding the bench unit. However, Kuminga might benefit more from Paul’s presence while Moody may be left behind. There is always speculation on if the Warriors will cash in on their young talent and this may be the year they do it.
