The 2024 NBA Draft class

Full disclosure, the 2024 NBA Draft class has been considered a significant step down compared to the 2023 NBA Draft class. It also doesn’t feature any headlining talent that last year’s draft had and the expectation for the 2025 NBA Draft. That doesn’t mean that this year’s draft class will be a complete dud. Over the next few months, there’s a chance that this year’s class could prove many draft analysts wrong.

Looking at the top of the 2024 NBA Draft big board at the moment, a few of the most talented prospects are Ron Holland, Alex Sarr, Isaiah Collier, Justin Edwards, and Matas Buzelis. Each of those prospects offers a unique skill set and each could make an early argument for being the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 draft.

The top of this year’s draft class largely relies on what happens across the G League and the college basketball seasons, but these four names are likely going to be top picks in some order. The question is, which teams will be in the running to earn the No. 1 overall pick?
