Dallas Mavericks

Tim Hardaway Jr.

Tim Hardaway Jr. has been one of the more polarizing players on the Dallas Mavericks roster over the last few years. He’s entering his sixth season with the Mavs and it’s been anything but smooth sailing recently. However, he’s emerged as a much-needed valued supporting player for the team this season. And it’s one of the biggest reasons the Mavs have been one of the bigger surprises in the Western Conference this season.

Through the first few weeks of the season. Hardaway is averaging 18 points and four rebounds per game on 44 percent shooting from the field and 40 percent shooting from 3-point range. If he continues to play at this pace, the Mavs are going to be a problem in the postseason.

Denver Nuggets

Aaron Gordon

When listing the most important players on the Denver Nuggets, the likes of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray are unanimously the first to pop up. However, I’m not sure the Nuggets would be where they’re at right now as a team without the contributions of Aaron Gordon.

He’s been extremely valuable for the team since he was acquired and continues to be one of the team’s most versatile players. The Nuggets should be grateful for his presence on the roster.
