Potential Landing Spots: Heat, Rockets, Cavs, Any Contender

The New Orleans Pelicans aren’t going to make the playoffs this year, no matter what they do in the second half of the season. They’re broken injured and have a very much flawed roster. They should be sellers at the NBA Trade Deadline. And one of the players on their roster that has the most value right now, apart from Anthony Davis, is Ryan Anderson.

Anderson is on the final year of his contract and could actually be a very valuable piece to someone’s playoff run. He can shoot the 3 consistently, and can also be that offensive spark off the bench that every successful team needs.

Funny thing, he’s the exact thing that the Heat desperately need. By default, Pat Riley should be on the phone with Dell Demps every opportunity he gets. The Rockets could also use a player like Anderson to play next to Howard – remember when they almost had Chris Bosh two summers ago? The Cavs – and practically any other contender looking to add one more weapon before facing the swiss army knife that the Golden State Warriors are – offer another potential landing spot for Anderson.
