2018 NBA Mock Draft 5.0: Mo Bamba crashes the top 3; Trae Young falls

2. Sacramento Kings – Mo Bamba, C, Texas

The Sacramento Kings are the real wildcard here at No. 2. They could stay chalk and take a Marvin Bagley or Luka Doncic, which many expect them to do, or they could get cute and take a huge swing here.

Because it’s the Kings, and it’s in their nature, I have them taking Mo Bamba here at No. 2. Bamba has arguably the highest ceiling of all the prospects in this draft pool, and we really don’t even know what that ceiling is. Perhaps Giannis?

He’s long, quick, fast and has shown promise with his smooth-looking jumper.
