Portland Trail Blazers

What to be thankful for: Another year of Damian Lillard

The Portland Trail Blazer head into the 2020-21 season with a healthy Damian Lillard ready and there’s really nothing more for this team to look forward to than that. As long as he’s healthy, the Blazers will always have a chance to make some noise in the Western Conference.

As we saw in last year’s playoffs (a run to the Western Conference Finals) and this past season in the NBA’s restart bubble.

Sacramento Kings

What to be thankful for: De’Aaron Fox’s extension

The Sacramento Kings don’t have much to look forward to in 2020-21, but it’s a great sign for this team’s future that they were able to extend De’Aaron Fox during the offseason. Over the past few years, the Kings haven’t gotten much right. But Fox is one they’ve hit a home run on.

Fox is coming off an impressive season and has his best basketball still very much in front of him. The Kings should be thankful he’ll be on the roster for the foreseeable future.
