Phoenix Suns storylines: Will Chris Paul fall victim to Father Time?

In all actuality, the Suns should be in a good spot heading into this season. They have legit star power, impressive depth, good coaching, and will have the continuity to make another deep playoff run.

The only real concern that the team has on its roster is Chris Paul. Even though he ended last season relatively healthy, he’s 36 years old and is probably on his last legs of an NBA career. And based on his history, he’s one bad step away from early retirement.

That’s not a knock on his age or ability either. When he’s healthy, he’s still one of the most deadly point guards in the game. The problem is, he’s rarely 100 percent healthy and seems to be always fighting one ailment.

Question is, can he stiff-arm Father Time for one more season?
