NBA Trade Deadline: 5 early candidates that could be prime targets

It may seem strange to see Jerami  Grant on this list but there’s no question that teams will be calling regarding his availability as the NBA Trade Deadline draws near. Grant cashed in after a breakout season with the Denver Nuggets and perhaps could now be looking to make a move to a contender.

If so, there should be plenty of teams interested in his services. Grant isn’t having as good of a season as he enjoyed last year, but he’s still been productive. Though the first month of the season, Grant has averaged 18 points and four rebounds on 41 percent shooting from the field.

Considering he’s another player that has only one year remaining on his deal after this season, and that the Detroit Pistons aren’t going anywhere fast, it wouldn’t be that crazy to see Grant’s name in the trade rumor mill.
