NBA Trade Deadline: 5 early candidates that could be prime targets

Eric Gordon hasn’t been heard from as of late but there’s no question that he is a player that could be moved at this year’s NBA Trade Deadline. The Houston Rockets could make him available as he’s taken a lesser role with the team this season.

At this point in his career, Gordon should be on a contending team. The Rockets are in the middle of what appears to be a long rebuild and Gordon no longer fits the window. It’s probably best for Houston to trade him and I’m sure it will be discussed if it hasn’t yet.

The big question is whether a team will fork over what it will likely take to land Gordon. He still has the potential to be a productive player and could be an extremely valuable bench option for any team that is looking to add firepower to their bench unit.
