The Washington Wizards trading Bradley Beal

If they wanted to the Washington Wizards could create some madness on NBA Draft night by trading Bradley Beal. He’s a player that has been on many opposing team’s radars but Washington has been reluctant to part ways with him. And while there’s no guarantee or even sign that the Wizards have changed stances on trading Beal, it’s an outside possibility.

Interestingly enough, Beal did have some comments throughout this season that at least made you think that a trade could be on the horizon this offseason. Nevertheless, unless something changes between now and the NBA Draft, it would be extremely surprising if the Wizards ended up trading Beal.

However, if we truly think about it, if the Wizards did trade Beal, do we think it’s going to happen with a full-blown trade demand and complete fallout as we saw recently with the likes of Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and Rudy Gobert/Donovan Mitchell? I don’t think so. In fact, I’d argue that if the Wizards do end up trading Beal this offseason, it will be an out-of-the-blue type of move.

Maybe it happens at the NBA Draft and creates some chaos due to the unexpected nature of it.
