While James Harden has been linked to the LA Clippers all summer long, I’m not sure if that’s something that’s ever going to come to fruition. And if it doesn’t before the start of training camp, they should absolutely move on and turn their eyes toward Holiday. He’d be a great answer at the point guard position and would allow Russell Westbrook to fall back into a role that suits him best at this point in his career.

Not to mention that the trio of Holiday, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard would help create one of the most fierce defensive trios in the league. Holiday would also help take some of the offensive pressure off both PG and Kawhi. Not to mention help carry the load in the event that either of those two players have an extended absence at any point during the season.

Holiday is still an effective player at this juncture in his career and could be viewed as one of the most undervalued backcourt players. If he can get back on a contender, there’s a chance he could be revitalized heading into the 2023-24 campaign. Holiday could be viewed as a final piece addition for a team like the Clippers.
