Tron Griffin grew up on the south side of Chicago, Illinois. He won an Award of Merit for his screenplay "Petrified" at the 2013 Los Angeles Cinema Festival of Hollywood. The screenplay "Petrified" was also named an Official Selection and Finalist at the prestigious 2013 Beverly Hills Film Festival. Tron's feature screenplay "Anna" was named an Official Selection and Finalist at the prestigious 2014 Beverly Hills Film Festival. Griffin also produced several short and feature films.
